Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2026
In short: Alien Memory Invaders has no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress, coins and boosters are saved only on your device. We don't run any servers that receive your data. Payments are handled by Apple or Google. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob shows it and processes some device data to do so, as described below. You control ad consent and tracking in the app's consent form and in your device settings.
1. Who we are
Taras Makota, Kulykivska St. 18a, Lviv, 79000, Ukraine ("we", "us"), publishes the Alien Memory Invaders game for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "Game"). Contact: makota.tv@gmail.com.
2. What stays on your device
The Game saves the following in its own storage on your device, and nowhere else:
- your progress: unlocked levels, stars, best scores and Endless results;
- your settings: music, sound effects and vibration;
- your wallet: coins, freeze and sonar boosters, spare batteries, and whether you own the Starter Kit;
- identifiers of purchases already delivered, so the same purchase is never credited twice.
We don't receive any of this. Uninstalling the Game deletes it. The leaderboard currently compares your own best score with sample names; no score leaves your device.
3. In-app purchases
You can buy coins, booster packs, the Starter Kit and the Booster Box. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see your name, email address or payment details. The store tells the Game that a purchase succeeded and gives it a purchase identifier, which the Game uses to deliver the items and keeps on your device as described above.
4. Ads
The Game shows an ad only when you choose to: when your batteries run out, you can watch a rewarded video to continue. The ad is provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, and Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland). To choose, show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may process:
- device and app information, such as the device model, operating system, language and app version;
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- advertising identifiers, where your device settings allow it: on Android the advertising ID, and on iOS the identifier for vendors (the Game doesn't ask for App Tracking permission, so it can't access Apple's advertising identifier);
- how you interact with the ad, and diagnostic data such as crashes of the ad component.
Google acts as an independent controller for some of this processing. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Consent and your choices
- Consent form: if you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland (or another place where the law requires it), the Game shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can accept, refuse or choose purposes. If you refuse, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, which use less data.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- iPhone and iPad: you can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
- Not watching ads: ads are always optional. You can continue with coins instead, or not continue.
6. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply: delivering purchases is necessary to perform our contract with you; ad personalisation and the use of identifiers for advertising rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; showing non-personalised ads, measuring them and preventing fraud rely on our and Google's legitimate interests in funding the Game.
7. Who receives data
| Recipient | Why | What |
|---|---|---|
| Apple or Google (app stores) | Downloads, purchases, refunds | Your store account and payment data, under the store's own privacy policy |
| Google AdMob | Rewarded ads and the consent form | The data listed in section 4 |
We don't sell your data, and we don't receive data from these companies about you as an individual. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under its own safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
8. How long data is kept
Data saved on your device stays until you uninstall the Game. Apple, Google and Google AdMob keep data according to their own policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we don't hold any personal data about you, most requests are best sent to Google or Apple directly; you can also write to us and we'll help.
10. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your country's law), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has shared personal data through the Game, contact us.
11. Changes
We'll update this policy when the Game or its partners change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For significant changes we'll also tell you in the Game.
